Sample Reports

See what a real inspection report looks like before you book

Click through a real sample inspection report for each tier, plus a walk-away example of what it looks like when we find serious issues. Same layout, same depth, same language you’ll receive when you book.

Reports by tier

Every tier covers the same systems. Silver and Gold add measured readings — battery load, brake thickness, A/C temps, paint depth — so the same car reads differently at each tier.

Bronze Inspection ($249)

This is a Bronze inspection — the fast, thorough visual and operational check. Every system gets looked at and photographed, and the OBD-II scan and road test are still included. What Bronze does NOT include are the instrumented measurements (battery load, brake thickness, A/C temps, paint depth). This is the exact same 2003 M5 as our Gold sample — read both to see precisely what the measurements add for your extra $200.

Most Popular

Silver Inspection ($349)

Silver is our most-popular tier — it adds the three instrumented measurements that turn "looks good" into "measured good": a battery load test, brake pad + rotor measurement, and A/C + heater temperature readings, on top of the full visual, road test, and OBD-II scan. This sample shows why they matter: a gorgeous Flying Spur that checks out mechanically, with one measured item — a failing 12V battery — that ties directly to a fault code on the scan.

Gold Inspection ($449)

Gold is the full workup — everything in Silver plus three more instrumented tests built for exactly this kind of car: an extended road test with live OBD-II data capture, a full electronics + infotainment audit, and paint-depth readings panel by panel. Best for high-trim and $50K+ vehicles where a hidden problem costs far more than the inspection. This is the same 2003 M5 as our Bronze sample — compare the two to see precisely what the measurements add.

What a bad report looks like

Clean samples are easy to trust. Seeing what we do when we find problems is where the real value shows.

Walk Away Example

Sample "Walk Away" Report — 2018 BMW 540i with Undisclosed Damage

This is an illustrative example of what our report looks like when we find serious problems — an undisclosed prior collision, an active oil leak, and transmission codes pointing at early wear. It shows how the Silver instrumented measurements (battery, brakes, and — on this car — paint depth used to expose the hidden bodywork) turn a clean-looking listing into a clear recommendation to walk away or negotiate hard. (Photos on this example are omitted — it is a composed teaching case, not a specific customer's vehicle.)
