A clean CARFAX is not a clean car

The report tells you what was reported. An independent inspector at the car tells you what is actually there: repaint over filler, flood residue, leaks, worn brakes and stored fault codes. Inspections from $249, and the CARFAX report drops to $29.99 when you add it.

Questions

What is in a CARFAX Vehicle History Report?

Reported accidents and damage, title brands (salvage, rebuilt, flood, lemon), odometer readings, number of owners, open recalls, and service records reported to CARFAX.

How do I get the report?

Enter the VIN, pay $49.99, and we email you a link to the full CARFAX report, usually within a few business hours.

Why is it $29.99 with an inspection?

Because we pull it alongside the inspection we are already doing for you. Add it at booking for $29.99 instead of $49.99.

Is a clean CARFAX enough to buy a car?

No. A history report only shows what was reported. Repairs paid in cash, a flood car that was never claimed, or worn brakes and leaks will not appear. An on-site inspection checks the car itself.
