What’s inspected at each tier
Every inspection delivers a photo-documented report. Deeper tiers add diagnostic, mechanical, and authentication checks.
included at this tier · added at Gold · not every listed check applies to every vehicle type.
Who’s inspecting your vehicle
Every inspector in the VehicleInspectors network is a vetted automotive professional, independently licensed, and carries their own liability insurance. We verify credentials annually.
Credentials
ASE certification, OEM/manufacturer training, or a state-licensed mechanic credential — verified on file. Many on the roster hold Master Technician (A1–A9) or category-specialist certs.
Insurance
Every inspector carries commercial general liability ($1M), commercial auto ($300K), and errors & omissions ($500K) coverage.
Independence
Inspectors are independent contractors, not dealership employees. They have no financial interest in whether you buy the vehicle — only in telling you the truth.
Your assigned inspector’s name, company, phone, email, and credential appear on your report and in your tracking page. No pseudonyms.
