Join the Vehicle Inspectors nationwide network.
We partner with experienced, certified professionals who can deliver thorough, photo-rich pre-purchase inspections on cars, trucks, exotics, RVs, and light commercial vehicles. If you have at least 5 years of inspection or diagnostic experience and current certifications, we want to hear from you.
We don’t sell repairs, warranties, or financing. You are not being asked to upsell anything — your job is to tell the truth about the vehicle and document it clearly for the buyer.
5+ years professional inspection or diagnostic experience.
Current credentials (ASE, OEM, or equivalent) required.
Independent contractor, you control your schedule and radius.
Who We’re Looking For
Inspectors who treat every vehicle like it’s their own money.
Our buyers rely on you to be their eyes and ears where they can’t be. We’re looking for inspectors who bring a serious, detail-focused mindset to every unit — from daily drivers to high-value specialty vehicles.
You should be comfortable working on-site at dealers, auction lots, storage facilities, and private homes; communicating clearly with coordinators; and documenting your findings in a structured, digital report.
What you get as a network inspector
- Qualified inspection requests from serious buyers — we market, screen, and coordinate so you can focus on the work.
- Keep your independence. You operate as an independent contractor and choose the areas and vehicle types you are comfortable with.
- Clear expectations on every job. Each assignment includes a defined checklist, scope, and photo requirements.
- No upsell pressure. We do not sell repairs, warranties, or roadside plans. You are never asked to “turn a discovery into a sale.”
- Responsive support. Our coordination team is available to help with seller issues, access challenges, or report questions from buyers.
For working techs & inspectors
Ideal as a primary lane in your market — or a smart add-on.
Some of our network partners focus on inspections full-time. Others use Vehicle Inspectors as a consistent side lane next to shop work, dealership roles, or mobile repair businesses. In both cases, the expectations are the same: professional, thorough work and clear communication.
If you enjoy helping buyers avoid bad deals, appreciate clean work without sales games, and want more control over your schedule, this network was built with you in mind.
How It Works for Inspectors
A simple, repeatable flow on every assignment.
Step 1
You receive an inspection request
We send you vehicle details, location, requested timing, and scope. You confirm whether you can take the job based on your radius and schedule.
Step 2
We coordinate seller access
Our team or you (depending on the job) schedule with the seller or dealer. You arrive on time with the tools, light, and gear you need.
Step 3
You perform the inspection
Follow the agreed checklist, capture clear photos, and note both strengths and concerns. Your role is to document, not to negotiate.
Step 4
Upload report & debrief
Submit the digital report and photos. When requested, you may join a short call to help the buyer understand key findings and next steps.
